Cool Tool - just what I was looking for. Except....sendToTinyPic is broken?

Cropper seems like a useful, handy tool, and with the SendTo* plugins, it is just what I was looking for.

But when I tried the "sendToTinyPic", I got a messagebox saying "Regex failed - upload the image manually."

Hmph.  So... I gotta open up the source code?

Any hints for me?

I looked and found workitem 9976: http://cropperplugins.codeplex.com/WorkItem/View.aspx?WorkItemId=9976  ...where someone else reported the same problem.

So I produced an update to the SendToTinyPic plugin code to correct it.  I'm not a contributor to this project, so I cannot upload the source.  But anyone can download it and include it into their own CropperPlugins project build.  Rebuild and re-deploy the SendToTinyPic.dll, and it should work for you.

The changes I made:

  • it actually works :)
  • it uses and sends the persistent cookies for TinyPic.com
  • it pops a browser window with the successfully uploaded image

The change/fix to the SendToTinyPic plugin is now in the source, and included in the v1.2 binary release.
